In a conversation about community building a friend said there isn’t such thing community building - communities should be equally even between all member and should be formed organically and not “managed” by anyone. 

I agree this should be a thing to aspire to but rarely you’re able to bootstrap without someone leading the way and helping shape it’s initial form
