There’s no blueprint for how to get value out of a network like this one — that’s partly why we left things pretty opened ended in the design. And it’s great to see people posting so many different types of opportunities and offers already! But I know from experience that the hardest part is figuring out what that you’re working on would be useful to post, so I’d love to help however I can.

Generally speaking, I’ve seen that builders respond well to stuff that is less transactional/marketing oriented — they want to actually connect with you, or to feel uniquely valuable. So instead of asking for people to use your product, try asking for their feedback on it (and get usage along the way). Or instead of asking for people to share your announcement, ask for their advice on how to make it successful.
