“In a world of infinite choices, choosing one thing is the revolutionary act. Imposing that restriction is actually liberating.” 

For those of us navigating the world of online (and IRL) community building, this book feels like a jolt of energetic reminders that boundaries & guidelines unlock magic while maintaining cozy & inclusive vibes. On the flip side,

Last week @Joey DeBruin sent me this piece about Notes as a medium – as in notes you passed to classmates in middle school – and how the specificity in writing those notes is essentially how we best communicate online & find our people (even in a public setting). 

I also just finished The Art of Gathering by Priya Parker, which is quotable in its entirety but here’s a fave unlock: “In a world of infinite choices, choosing one thing is the revolutionary act.
