The $DOWN DAO has yet to be officially deployed, with an active discussion surrounding the ideal DAO infrastructure and governance model for the project.  Included is a brief introduction to the project and its goals. 

Currently we’re seeking peer reviews of the progress made thus far, as well as potential collaborations with other teams/projects/communities within the ‘social token’ sector; but will welcome any relevant inquiries or interested contributors.  The project is very early stage, but we hope to progress rapidly alongside a community and network that is focused on min-maxing the benefits offered creators by the ability to create and utilize a creator/community-centric token.

The $DOWN Vault token is an experimental new tokenomics design; engineered to serve as a social token, as well as the prototype for the ‘social tokens 2.0’ framework.

is the first creator/community led social token project with a verifiable, smart-contract secured multichain reserve index; which allows the limitless deposit of nearly any onchain asset.

Currently pending mainnet deployment, will be dual-purpose; tasked with overseeing and guiding the development of the $DOWN Vault ecosystem (to include NFTs, P2E gaming, yield farming, and more), while also battle-testing the $DOWN tokenomics and utility concepts to establish provenance for the ‘social tokens 2.0’ blueprint.

After establishing the viablility and security of the $DOWN token model, the experience will be applied to the launch of a “social tokens 2.0 platform” offering DIY deployment of next-gen social tokens alongside an incubator and  launchpad.

I originally conceptualized $DOWN and the ‘social tokens 2.0’ format during Mar. ’21 after a popular social token tooling platform was hacked; causing mass sell-offs of several prominent social tokens. The concept is inspired by tokens like Whaleshark’s $WHALE, and Skeenee’s $SKULL; tokens in which their issuer has pledged some or all of their NFT holdings to serve as reserve assets for the token.

 $DOWN refines this concept to guarantee at a smart-contract level that the assets backing the tokens are unable to be externally accessed except in the event of a buyout, with the reserve price set by the tokenholders, and the success of which enables the redemption of $DOWN for its proportional ETH from the sale. At the same time, the reserve treasury utilizes, and displays, the public addresses for the underlying “vault”; enabling anyone to contribute nearly any asset to the tokens’ reserve.
