I started out my career in neuroscience labs, but for the past 10 years I’ve been building marketplace and network consumer products. I care a lot about how we help more people access the tools to be creative and innovative, and that’s what drew me to crypto — fundamentally I think a lot of that comes down to incentives and global economic coordination. 

I spend 95% of my time building Backdrop now, but I’m still very engaged with the future of science and how community ownership will shape how we build knowledge online. I’m especially keen to advise, angel invest, and support projects in that space.
