I started exploring messaging and communications in blockchain ecosystems in 2018, where I saw an opportunity to evolve how people communicate online.

For the next couple of years, my co-founder, Rob De Feo, and I experimented with different implementations. We worked together on the Mailchain open source project, which was largely community supported.

Mailchain evolved, and in late 2021, we introduced an entirely new model for communication that can scale to support humanity's messaging needs. This model doesn't require central providers to monetise personal data to support running messaging services, instead relies on consumption-based economics to reward infrastructure providers for supplying resources to the protocol. The Mailchain protocol is live, with an SDK for developers to easily integrate web3 email into their own apps. There is also a clean, simple webmail interface for users to receive their emails for any number of wallet addresses. All data and messages are end-to-end encrypted.

AWS startup business development (2016-2021), created and ran Emerging Technologies, which was responsible for all blockchain startup customer activity. This includes speaking at ecosystem events, and supporting special customer initiatives and growth needs.

Worked with many key organisations including the Ethereum Foundation, ENS, Web3 Foundation, Algorand, Chia, Consensus, Unstoppable Domains, and many projects and games building on top of blockchain protocols.
